Is Hazel really free for small teams?
Yes! Hazel is completely free for teams of up to 10 members with unlimited channels and messages. No credit card required, no time limits.
Can I switch plans later?
Absolutely. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. When upgrading, you'll be prorated for the remainder of your billing cycle. When downgrading, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) through Stripe. Enterprise customers can also pay via invoice with NET-30 terms.
Do you offer discounts for open source projects?
Yes! Open source projects and non-profits qualify for our free tier regardless of team size. Contact us at support@hazel.sh to get set up.
What happens if I exceed the free plan limits?
We'll notify you when you're approaching the 10-member limit. Your existing data and conversations are never affected — you'll just need to upgrade to add more members.
Can I self-host Hazel for free?
Hazel is open source and can be self-hosted at no cost. The Enterprise plan adds dedicated support, SAML SSO, and SLA guarantees for self-hosted deployments.
